Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig

Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig

Status: Games released

Immerse yourselves in the world of masonry, reliefs and richly-decorated interiors! As Mad King Ludwig’s head architects you will be responsible for constructing two castles, which not only are going to make your Ruler deemed worthy of his sobriquet, but would also bring you eternal glory as the creators of architectonic hallmarks of a dream-like grandiosity.

Combining game mechanics of two bestsellers: Between Two Cities and Castles of Mad King Ludwig, the game enables you to cooperate with two players sitting to your left and right. Consult each other to decide whether it is a good idea to make the Hall of Portraits lead to the Taxidermy Showroom. Or maybe it would be more reasonable to end it with a Vestibule? And what’s with this Hidden Passage adjoining the Pit of Despair? Shall we broaden the dungeon, then?

147 tiles with various rooms and corridors as well as crammed alcoves and nooks provide you with the multitude of possible layouts of your marvelous castles. Gain extra tiles and bonus cards for specific combinations of facilities inside and configurations of amenities outside the castle to make it even more astonishing. But don’t forget about the other one! In the end, it is the lower-scoring castle that indicates who is the best architect and who should chuck away the protractor forever...
